Within the overall set of objectives of the First Jabotabek Urban Development Project, the specific role of this technical assistance was to: (a) assist and support Dinas PU DKI in the supervision of the construction of Manggarai Connection; (b) ensure that the construction work would be accomplished in accordance with the engineering design and contract documents; (c) agree on the measured quantity of the works and certify the interim and final accounts; (d) prepare reports on project progress (physical, financial); and (e) make sure that the procurement and implementation of the civil engineering works complies with IBRD requirements as well as with DKI Jakarta regulations.
