Major project tasks were as follows : Strategic market research (detailed sample survey of households, survey of business establishments, surveys of the essential development sectors); Preliminary feasibility study to assess the prospects of the new city and determine the parameters for its success; Survey of major competing developments around Jakarta, and comparative analysis of relevant international examples of new satellite cities; Comparative land prices; phasing of development and costing study; and, Marketing strategy, and preparation of high quality presentation material for marketing purposes.
