The basic objectives of the project were: (a) analysis of the present state of the Bulgarian transport infrastructure and the existing programme of priority of investment projects, followed by an evaluation of the investment policies presently pursued by the MOT; (b) to examine and consider the basic requirements of the programmes for the development of the transport infrastructure of the EU in Eastern Europe; (c) to present the methodologies for the formulation of transport infrastructure priorities within the EU.
