The main objectives of the project were (i) to inform high level staff in urban public transport authorities in the main cities of Kazakhstan of the modern practices in the sector implemented in the World in general and in Europe in particular, and (ii) to formulate recommendations on how to implement such practices in Kazakhstan. These objectives would be met by organizing study tours (seminars) in Belgium and Greece for high level Kazakhstan officials.
