Preparation of documents describing the physical configuration of the four rapid transit rail extensions for the Athens Metro Expansion Programme. Doxiadis Associates prepared the final horizontal alignment and vertical profile drawings of each of the four extensions, namely: (i) Sepolia to Peristeri, (ii) Keramikos to Egaleo, (iii) Daphni to Ilioupoli, and (iv) Faliro to Piraeus. The processing of input data was made electronically, and the longitudinal sections were prepared utilising Computer Aided Design (CAD) on INTERPRO. Layout plans and alignments were based on the data provided by Client. In the context of the Athens Metro Expansion Programme, a feasibility study was also performed.
