The project concerned consulting services for the beautification works of Rustaq Town (population 40,000) over a period of 18 years, up to the year 2010. The project was prepared for the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Environment. Within this context alternative layout schemes for the rehabilitation and beautification of impact public spaces and historic buildings including a characteristic Medieval castle were elaborated. Moreover, proposals were made for the upgrading of the man-made environment including beautification, plantation and furnishing of the main roads.
