Services undertaken in association with other Greek and U.K. firms. The task of the Consultants was to assist the Ministry in tendering procedures, and revise when necessary the preliminary study of the Athens Metro. Services offered included recommendations with respect to feeder bus-line; layout and operation of Park & Ride Stations; traffic management scheme to facilitate traffic circulation during construction of the metro; preparation of TOR and Tender Documents. The construction works included some 25 km of line that were to be added to the already existing line (8 km), and construction of some 50 new stations.
