Implementation design of Infrastructure Rehabilitation for Quarter IV in Djibouti- DJIBOUTI

The project concerned the upgrading of the infrastructure of an existing old Quarter of the City of Djibouti, approximately 23 hectares, which is densely populated. The upgrading comprised improvements of the road network, upgrading or reconstruction of the stormwater drainage and sewage systems, and densification of the water distribution system. The implementation design comprised the following tasks: redesign of the road network (base, sub-base, fill and paving), redesign of the stormwater drainage and sewage system, amelioration proposals for existing infrastructure problems, cost estimate, and tender documents.
