The project concerned the design elaboration of the Greek Pavilion, as well as the preparation of the exhibition material for the Greek participation in the International Exhibition "EXPO '98", in Lisbon. The main theme of the exhibition was: "Oceans, the Heritage of the Future". The pavilion had a total exhibition area of 685 sq.m. on the ground floor level, and 300 sq.m. for offices and VIPs' reception areas on the mezzanine level. The design concept of the pavilion focused around the long term relationship between Greece and Sea, which was presented by means of ultra-modern audiovisual technology, set in an attractive environment that aimed to capture the visitor's imagination
and to ‘travel’ him to the ancient, present and future Greece. This special technical and artistic study was highly commended by the Client.
